Danida Alumni Prize 2019

Assoc. Professor Dr. Phan Thi Van, Director of the Research Institute for Aquaculture No 1 in Vietnam, received the Danida Alumni Prize 2019. The award ceremony took place on 27 June 2019 as part of the 5th Joint Nordic Conference on Development Research at Copenhagen Business School, and was followed by a celebratory reception at Danida Fellowship Centre.

The prize was presented by Margrethe Holm Andersen, Senior Adviser at Aalborg University and Chairperson of Danida Fellowship Centre. Read her introductory speech here.

Dr. Phan Thi Van earned her PhD in Epidemiology and Food Safety in Aquaculture from the University of Copenhagen in 2010 as a Danida Fellow.
