Danida Alumni Prize 2020

MSc and co-founder of the social enterprise Takataka Plastics Peter Okwoko received the Danida Alumni Prize 2020. The award ceremony took place on 27 November 2020 at the Embassy of Denmark in Kampala, Uganda. The ceremony was simultaneously streamed online.

The prize was presented by Nikolaj A. Hejberg Petersen, Danish Ambassador to Uganda. Read his introductory speech here.

Peter Okwoko earned his Master of Science in Innovative Communication Technologies and Entrepreneurship from Aalborg University in 2017, as a Danida fellow under the Building Stronger Universities programme.
