Institutions of higher and further education
Institutes of higher education and further education all over the world are giving an increasingly high priority to alumni activities. The Danida Alumni Network will help Danish universities and research institutions to stay in touch with current and former international students from Danida's partnership countries. Since 1960s Danida has partnered with 90 countries in the global South.
Institutional members of Danida Alumni have the following benefits:
- Connecting and re-connecting to the Danida alumni of their institutions
- Flagging the institutions new research initiatives, courses or events to a targeted audience
- Participation in thematic discussion groups on Danida Alumni Facebook Group. To be accepted at the Danida Alumni Facebook Group you will have to be a member of the Danida Alumni.
- Opportunities to position their university or institution internationally

With more than 20,000 students and 1,500 employees, Copenhagen Business School is one of the largest business schools in Europe. It offers a comprehensive range of university degrees in business administration and modern languages for international business communication in Europe.
The IT University of Copenhagen is the youngest university in Denmark established in 1999. Since the establishment students with more than 100 different bachelor degrees have been admitted. The vast majority of the graduates are employed in the private sector.
Roskilde University's primary objective is to contribute to experimental, innovative forms of research, learning and problem-solving that contribute to society's development. Established in 1972, Roskilde University has more than 9500 students and is the fifth-largest university in Denmark.
The Technical University of Denmark is recognized internationally as on of Europe’s leading universities in the areas of the technical and the natural sciences. It is also known for its business-oriented approach, focus on sustainability, and accommodating study environment.
With over 40,000 students and more than 9,000 employees, the University of Copenhagen is the largest institution of research and education in Denmark.
The University of Southern Denmark welcomed the first students in September 1966. The university has five faculties with more than 27,000 students, almost 20% of whom are from abroad. The main campus is located in Odense and the regional campuses in Slagelse, Kolding, Esbjerg and Sønderborg.
Aalborg University (AAU) has been providing students with academic excellence, cultural engagement and personal development since its inception in 1974. It offers education and research within the fields of natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, technical and health sciences.
Aarhus University is a modern research-intensive university. Since its establishment in 1928 the university has rapidly developed into a leading public research university with nationwide and international clout across the entire research spectrum.
