Theme: Research-based achievements

Across every continent, former and current Danida fellows drive development and effect change in a wide range of sectors. To celebrate the achievements of Danida Alumni, Danida Fellowship Centre awards an annual Danida Alumni Prize to an exceptional Danida alum.

This year the prize will be awarded to an alum who, based on his or her Danida funded studies, has contributed to positive change in their home country or area of employment, as a result of research-based achievements. We encourage nominations across both genders and all age groups.

Nominations before 31 March

Nominations are accepted from anyone, who has gained meaningful insights into the nominee’s achievements, e.g. alumni nominating themselves, former and current Danida fellows, colleagues and employers, Danish Embassies and Danida Programme staff, Danida Fellowship Centre study providers and partner universities. Nominations must be made using the nomination form below.

A committee at Danida Fellowship Centre will select the alum of the year among the nominees. The recipient will be notified no later than 26 April 2019.

Award Ceremony 27 June

The award ceremony will take place 27 June, 2019 as part of the 5th joint Nordic Conference on Development Research Knowledge Production in North-South Collaboration, hosted by Copenhagen Business School.

All of the award recipient’s travel expenses will be covered.

The recipient and their achievements will be featured in the media.

Please submit the form to Danida Fellowship Centre alumni@dfcentre.dk no later than 31 March 2019.
