Danida Alumni Prize 2018 - Call for Nominations

Theme: Entrepreneurship and innovation as a tool of change

Across every continent, former and current Danida fellows drive development and effect change. To celebrate the achievements of Danida Alumni, Danida Fellowship Centre awards an annual Danida Alumni Price to a distinguished Danida alum.

This year the prize will be awarded to an alum who, based on his or her Danida funded studies, has made important achievements contributing to positive change in his or her home country or area of employment using entrepreneurship and innovation as a tool of change. We encourage nomination among both younger and senior candidates.

Nominations before 15 August

Nominations are accepted from anyone, e.g. alumni nominating themselves, former and current Danida fellows, colleagues and employers, Danish embassies and Danida programme staff, Danida Fellowship Centre study providers and partner universities. Nominations must be made using the nomination form.

A committee at Danida Fellowship Centre will select the distinguished alum of the year among the nominees. The recipient will be notified no later than 5 September 2018.

Award Ceremony 8 November

The award ceremony will take place 8 November 2018 as part of the 9th Annual Forum of the Donor Harmonisation Group hosted by Danida Fellowship Centre in Copenhagen.

All travel expenses will be covered for the prize recipient. The recipient and his/her achievements will be featured in the media.
