Dear Danida Alumni,
For those who have not already seen the news on the DAN Facebook or LinkedIn group, we are happy and proud to say that Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus became the very first distinguished Danida alum to receive the newly inaugurated Danida Alumni Prize. The award ceremony was part of Danida Fellowship Centre’s 25th anniversary in Frederiksberg 31 August. Ms Ulla Tørnæs, Danish Minister of Development cooperation presented the award.
The Danida Alumni Network – Ghana joined the festive 25th anniversary long distance by arranging three concurrent events in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale. Under the theme “Danida Alumni's Role in Institutional Leadership” prominent speaker’s flag shipped the role Danida alumni have in spearheading solid, forward thinking and constructive leadership.
